Q, 1999-2019
Q, scritto da Luther Blissett nel 1999, è stato uno dei più importanti romanzi che abbia mai letto. Non solo per me ma anche per una buona parte di persone che, da oltre vent’anni, sta lottando contro un sistema ingiusto e iniquo. In un lasso di tempo così lungo molti si sono persi, altri se ne sono aggiunti, le pratiche sono cambiate (a volte anche per limiti di età), e si è dovuto cercare nuove strade.
Questo è uno dei significati che attribuisco all’ultima frase del romanzo: non seguire testardamente un piano ma modificarlo di volta in volta, a seconda delle persone e dei contesti in cui ci si trova. Che non vuol dire cambiare idea ma adattarla (termine non molto corretto) e (r)innovarla.

Q, written by Luther Blissett in 1999, was one of the most important novels we have ever read. Not only for me but also for a good part of people who, for over twenty years, have been fighting against an unfair and unjust system. In such a long period of time many have lost themselves, others have added to it, practices have changed (sometimes because of age limits), and new paths have had to be sought.
This is one of the meanings I attribute to the last sentence of the novel: not stubbornly follow a plan but modify it from time to time, depending on the people and contexts in which you find yourself. That doesn’t mean to change your mind but to adapt it (not very correct term) and (r)innovate it.
